We are excited to announce our litter plans for 2023!  Brigit will be bred to approved TDR and ITR outcross Booker.

Booker is a working Alaskan Husky with a sledding kennel, Team Warren, out of Idaho.  He has been brought to the Tamaskan breed in cooperation with Wilderun Kennels and Tamaskans of the Ebon Blade (who used him with their own Tamaskan, Sylvaen Reckless, in late 2022). While successfully competing in many races, Booker also displays a wonderful temperament. He is calm and stable in new environments and comfortable around new dogs and handlers. We believe that he will be an excellent match in structure and temperament for Brigit.

Puppies are expected to be roughly 5-6% in wolf content (through CSV and Saarloos ancestry) with a COI of approximately 1%. They are expected to be various shades of grey agouti in color with 1/4 of the litter having a full mask. They should also be very athletic and intelligent and will need active and attentive homes. The pups are expected to not only excel in harness sports (sledding, bikejoring, canicross, etc.), but to also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and mental pursuits like nosework and tracking.

Because of the unique nature of these lines, priority will be given to prospective sporting, showing and breeding homes. As an outcross, Booker brings in vital new genetic diversity to the breed and Brigit is currently (as of 10/21/2021) one of only three registered active breeding females in the US that have zero known cases of epilepsy, Addison's, or cryptorchidism within their first and second degree relatives. She is the only one of the three that has not yet had or is not expecting a litter, and the only registered breeding female to carry her mother's outcross genes in the US, so we hope that she will be able to contribute to the breed with Booker.  We would prefer that at least 3 of the breed quality pups to be placed in breeding homes and we will consider co-ownership for the right applicants - please feel free to inquire. Please stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram pages - we will post updates when we have them.  Applications for this litter are currently open through our Getting A Puppy page.

Thanks!
